Devin is an Outdoor Educator. His most successful projects have been leading outdoor experiences and fostering lifelong intrapersonal connections with nature. Throughout his childhood, he spent a lot of time outdoors, whether it was hiking in the woods after school, building forts, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, climbing, biking, snowboarding, or surfing on international family trips. This established his unconditional love towards the great outdoors and is the sole reason why he has devoted his life to being outside and showing others the beauty of it.
During college, he was a snowboard instructor, zip-line guide, and a kayak instructor. These jobs gave him insight into where his passions lie within the field of the outdoor industry and what he could do to give back the outdoor community. His most recent accomplishments outdoors have been leading a group of participants with learning differences on a week long backpacking trip in New Mexico’s Bandelier National forest, surfing pipeline in Hawaii, and completing a two-month solo surf safari in Costa Rica and Nicaragua.
He uses his background and passion to foster growth through outdoor experiences in hopes more people will go out on their own and learn about how important it is to protect these special places for generations to enjoy.
